Nokia have released their yearly report this morning and as expected Nokia have been going down year by year in their net profits. The yearly report says that it has around $1.38 billion loss when compared with their previous year's report.
But there is a positive side of this report as well. Nokia have sold more than 1 million units of Lumia(Lumia 800 and Lumia 710) which makes their position formidable in the smartphone market. Although it was a festive season and considering this, 1 million is not a huge number. But still Nokia will take it as a huge positive towards their growth and will try to exploit the start that these windows 7 phones have got.
According to the reports, Nokia have also received a sum of $250 million payment from Microsoft as part of their business for windows 7 phones and that there are more transactions that needs to be made during this year.
